Studies show that engaging in therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma can have a positive impact on the physical symptoms (headaches, stomachaches, fatigue, increased heart rate, sleep problems, weight loss/gain) that often arise when weathering the storm of mental health struggles.
